COLLISION CENTER WORK FLOW

THE 10 STEP REPAIR PROCESS

THE ESTIMATE

The vehicle is inspected and relevant data is entered into our system, then the cost of the needed repairs is estimated. However, often there is hidden damage that cannot be seen until after the vehicle is disassembled.

INSURANCE APPROVAL

Once the estimate is completed and reviewed by your insurance company, we negotiate the price and procedures required to repair the vehicle. If your insurance company determines the vehicle can be repaired, the repair process begins.

DISASSEMBLY

In disassembly hidden damage is often found, and inner structure repairs are determined. Many times this will require re-inspection by your insurance company and ordering additional parts.

ORDER PARTS

We order your parts as soon as possible. Most parts arrive quickly but the repair process cannot start until our shop receives all the parts. This includes all special orders.

STRUCTURE REPAIR

As a DuPont Performance Alliance member we follow strict guidelines to ensure your vehicle’s frame is brought back to factory specifications.

BODY REPAIR

In this step the exterior panels and all metal finishing takes place. The vehicle starts to come back to life as sheet metal is installed and aligned.

PAINT

Paint preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process. All panels are prepped, primed and sealed to ensure proper paint adhesion.

REASSEMBLY

Body reassembly, final moldings and detail pieces are put back on. If necessary a suspension alignment is done in this phase, along with any mechanical repairs.

DETAILING

The vehicle is cleaned, road tested and brought through its final inspection.

COMPLETED!

Delivery is the last step in the repair process. The bill is explained and the final paperwork is completed. The vehicle is ready - brought back to its pre-accident condition.
